CREAR USB BOOTEABLE DE WINDOWS 7 EN LUBUNTU 14.04
Pare crear un usb bootable de windows desde Lubuntu no vale Unetbootin,hay que usar otro programa yo use este Winusb.
Para instalarlo en 32bits abrimos terminal y escribimos :
wget https://launchpad.net/~colingille/+archive/freshlight/+files/winusb_1.0.11+saucy1_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i winusb_1.0.11+saucy1*
sudo apt-get -f install
Para instalarlo en 64bits abrimos terminal y escribimos :
wget https://launchpad.net/~colingille/+archive/freshlight/+files/winusb_1.0.11+saucy1_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i winusb_1.0.11+saucy1*
sudo apt-get -f install
Cuando arranque el usb de instación y lleguemos a la pantalla de elegir la partición donde instalar el sistema tecleamos shift + F10 se abrira una ventana de DOS y teclamos :
diskpart (Pulse tecla Intro)
list disk (Pulse tecla Intro)
select disk 0 (Pulse tecla Intro)
clean (Pulse tecla Intro)
exit (Para salir de la consola)
Después se instala sin problemas.

TELEGRAM EN PIDGIN
Vamos a añadir Telegram al programa de mensajeria Pidgin para poder utilizarlo también en el ordenador.
Abrimos la terminal y escribimos:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install telegram-purple
Despues abrimos el Pidgin y ya tenemos la opción de Telegram,la elegimos y en nombre de usuario ponemos nuestro número de telefono con el signo + y el prefijo del pais como se ve en la foto .
Despues de añadir la cuenta nos llegara al movil un SMS con un codigo para añadir en la siguiente ventana que se abrira a continuación .
Ponemos el codigo y aceptamos y ya esta muy sencillo.
Abrimos la terminal y escribimos:

CONKY DESAPARECE - LUBUNTU 14.04
Tras instalar conky all y configurar el archivo .conkyrc , con la configuración modificada y rescatada de CrunchBang , cuando cliclamos en el escritorio el conky desaparece para solucionarlo modificamos una linea la que esta en rojo :

SQUIDGUARD - BLOQUEA WEBS DE ADULTOS
Descargamos Squidguard ,despues los descomprimimos .
Abrimos la terminal y nos situamos en la carpeta Descargas que acabamos de extraer :
cd home/usuario/Descargas/squidGuard-1.4
Situados en la carpeta escribimos :
./configure
make
Ahora como root escribiremos :
su
cd home
cd usuario
cd Descargas
cd squidGuard-1.4
make install
Listas negras (blacklist)
SHALLA
MEDS
Descomprimimos los archivos , abrimos la terminal y escribimos :
sudo thunar
Se nos abrira el gestor de archivos como root y nos situamos en :
/usr/local/squidGuard

SWAPPINESS
Swappiness es una propiedad del Núcleo Linux que permite establecer un balance entre el uso del Espacio de intercambio (swap en inglés) y la Memoria de acceso aleatorio (RAM) . El swappiness puede tomar valores desde el 0 hasta el 100. Si se establece 0 el núcleo intentará no hacer intercambio, mientras que si se establece 100 el sistema intentará mantener la Memoria de acceso aleatorio lo más libre posible haciendo intercambio . Los sistemas de escritorio utilizan un valor de swappiness de 60.
Configuración
Abrimos la terminal y escribimos :
sudo pluma /etc/sysctl.conf (cambiar pluma por editor de texto de sistema)
Se nos abrira el editor de texto bajamos con las flechas del teclado hasta la ultima linea y escribimos :
vm.swappiness = 5
Comprobar el valor de swappines :
cat /proc/sys/vm/swappiness
Guardamos los cambios con CONTROL + O .
Se puede establecer el valor del swappiness modificando el valor del archivo /proc/sys/vm/swappiness . Este efecto dura mientras el sistema esté activo. Para que el cambio sea permanente, se establece el valor de la variable en el archivo /etc/sysctl.conf .
Funciona al reiniciar el sistema .
Un valor que esta bien es 10 o 20 pero se puede poner el que queramos incluso 0 y el sistema intentará no hacer intercambio .

FONDOS DE PANTALLA - LINUX MINT
Para instalar todos los fondos de linux mint desde versiones anteriores basta con ir a terminal y escribir :
sudo apt-get install mint-backgrounds-*
Si tenemos que buscar la ruta de donde están , es esta :

Estarán las carpetas con cada versión de linux mint con sus correspondientes fondos de pantalla.

NEVERBALL
Neverball es un juego en el que tienes que guiar una bola rodando por un terreno peligroso. Haciendo equilibrios en puentes estrechos, navegar por laberintos y esquivar empujadores para llegar a la meta.
Carrera contra el reloj para recoger las monedas para ganar bolas extra. Monedas rojas valen 5 , monedas azules valen 10, se gana una bola extra con 100 monedas.

VLC APAGA PANTALLA
En algunas distros hay un problema con VLC , que estas viendo una pelicula y se apaga la pantalla , según la configuración de ahorro de energía , cuando no deberia ser así , hay una solución muy fácil y sencilla.
Abrimos VLC y vamos a herramientas,preferencias , allí a la opción video y cambiamos la salida viene de manera predeterminada en automática y elegimos la opción salida xvideo (XCB) , ahora ya no se apagara la pantalla mientras estamos viendo una pelicula.

EXT2FSD PROYECT
Driver de código abierto del sistema de archivos ext3 / 4 para Windows /XP/VISTA/WIN7 .Para que windows reconozca los discos duros en ext2 / 3 / 4.

IMAGINATION
Imagination es un programa parecido a MemoriesOntv donde puedes crear con tus fotos un Dvd con música para ver en el Dvd del salón .
Es un programa muy intuitivo , agregramos las fotos y podemos ordenarlas arrastrandolas, se agrega la musica y tambien se puede ordenar y elegir el efecto para cada foto,da su trabajo realizar el Dvd pero vale la pena.
La música mejor en mp3 a 48000hz porque en ogg puede que el Dvd no la reproduzca.

CORRECTOR ORTOGRAFICO - LIBREOFFICE
Podemos instalar uno de los diccionarios que ya vienen en los repositorios como myspell o buscar un diccionario en la web de extensiones de LibreOffice e instalarlo .
Instalar un diccionario MySpell por terminal o buscar el paquete en synaptic :
sudo apt-get install myspell-es
Instalar un diccionario como extensión
Abrir Libreoffice e ir a Herramientas > Administración de extensiones > Añadir y seleccionar el archivo OXT descargado de la web de libreoffice .

2 Congela el sistema para un usuatio especifico .
3 Congela el sistema para todos los usuarios
4 Descongela el sistema
5 Ver estado .
6 Salir
Elejimos la opcion y enter y el sistema se congelara para descongelar volvemos a abrir la terminal ejecutamos el programa con el comando y eligimos 4 .

MINTSTICK PARA UBUNTU Y DERIVADOS
Permite escribir archivos de imágenes de discos en formato .ISO o .IMG en una memoria USB de una manera fácil asi como formatear el usb sin gparted.

HARDINFO - EL AIDA O EVEREST DE LINUX
Es una herramienta de detección de hardware.Nos permitirá conocer los detalles de nuestro hardware de una manera muy similar a Aida o Everest . Está en inglés pero es facil de utilizar.
Para instalarlo abrimos una terminal y escribimos:
sudo apt-get install hardinfo
Tambien lo podemos instalar por synaptic buscando el paquete hardinfo.

MANTENIMIENTO DE SISTEMA GNU/LINUX
En cuanto al software el único mantenimiento necesario es con estos comandos :
En terminal escribimos:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove
El ultimo comando es importante, ya que elimina los kernels antiguos y ahorra espacio en disco duro. Sólo se debe utilizar cuando el equipo se encuentra en buen estado de funcionamiento por lo que no hay necesidad de volver a un kernel antiguo.
En terminal escribimos:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove

Xchat es un programa cliente de IRC , lo vamos configurar al servidor irc-hispano.org . Arriba del programa tenemos las opciones para configuracion clicamos Xchat y lista de redes se nos abrira una ventana como esta ponemos nuestros nicks - apodos .Ahora le clicamos en añadir y agregamos la nueva red IRC-HISPANO .

Se nos abrira un archivo en el que añadimos en la parte superior :
Package: sysvinit
Pin: release *
Pin-Priority: -1
Guardamos y cerramos .
Despues en la terminal instalamos systemd :
sudo apt-get install systemd
Esto instalará systemd y quitara sysvinit. Después , reiniciamos el arranque es mas corto y rapido.
sudo geany /etc/apt/preferences
Se nos abrira un archivo en el que añadimos en la parte superior :
