XCHAT - CONFIGURACION IRC.HISPANO

Xchat es un programa cliente de IRC , lo vamos configurar al servidor irc-hispano.org . Arriba del programa tenemos las opciones para configuracion clicamos Xchat y lista de redes se nos abrira una ventana como esta ponemos nuestros nicks - apodos .Ahora le clicamos en añadir y agregamos la nueva red IRC-HISPANO .





Ahora le damos a editar y se nos abrira la siguiente ventana y añadimos libres.irc-hispano.org

irc.irc-hispano.org 





Esta es una captura al arrancar el programa conectados a irc-hispano.org.




Arriba en las opciones del programa clicamos en en servidor y lista de canales tendremos la opcion para descargar la lista y conectarnos a salas de muchos paises ,ciudades o tematicas de habla hispana.

Glabels es un programa para crear etiquetas , tarjetas de visita , caratulas para CD/DVD , Diskette , etc. .Es un programa muy completo.

REPOSITORIO DE PAQUETES LTS PARA LUBUNTU - BACKPORTS

Estos paquetes LTS son versiones actuales de paquetes considerados como esenciales en la distribución y que tienen largo soporte como puede ser el kernel de Linux, paquetes críticos del escritorio como PCmanfm o de programas tan esenciales como Abiword.

Este repositorio, es casi imprescindible de tener , para estar a la ultima es como un backports .

Para instalarlo hacemos lo siguiente :


Abrimos el terminal e instalamos el repositorio PPA :


sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:lubuntu-dev/staging

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

INSTALAR FUENTES - TIPOGRAFIAS

Para instalar fuentes  despues de descargarla y descomprimirla la instalamos para que la reconozca el libreoffice.

La copiamos como root a  /usr/share/fonts/


sudo cp -r /home/usuario/Descargas/carpeta  /usr/share/fonts/

Agregamos las fuentes al caché :


fc-cache /usr/share/fonts/

CAMBIAR A SYSTEMD - CRUNCHBANG

Abrimos terminal y escribimos :

sudo geany /etc/apt/preferences

Se nos abrira un archivo en el que añadimos en la parte superior :

Package: sysvinit
Pin: release *
Pin-Priority: -1


Guardamos y cerramos .

Despues en la terminal instalamos systemd :

sudo apt-get install systemd


Esto instalará systemd y quitara sysvinit. Después , reiniciamos el arranque es mas corto y rapido.


KROP - RECORTA ARCHIVOS PDF

Krop es un programa para recortar archivos PDF, para la división de una página en várias páginas . Podemos recortar , seleccionar un rango determinado de páginas, crear marcos y elegir la altura y anchura de la pagina de salida .

Para instalar necesitamos tambien : PyQT, python-poppler-qt4, pyPDF.
Hay un  .DEB  para Debian y derivadas como Ubuntu y Linux Mint.

Lincity es un videojuego de simulación inspirado en SimCity. Es software libre , publicado con licencia GPL y gratuito.
 
Para instalar por terminal escribimos:

sudo apt-get install lincity-ng
